Your bookseller at SBIS is retired Boeing worker-bee, Thom
Walker, who has had a life-long passion for reading. After hand
crafting all of the bookshelves himself, Thom has spent many hours
filling the shelves with more than 12,000 books ranging in topics
from current politics, history, math, science and classics to mystery,
suspense, action adventure, legal thrillers and westerns.
Diane Berthoin-Hernández is Some Bookstore In Sandy's
Design Director and Buyer. Also a reader of many genres, Diane
spends most days as a principal of a local K-8 school and on
weekends catches up with Thom at the store. Their own
5000-book library served as the foundation of the store's initial
inventory.
Both Thom and Diane are proud to serve the Sandy reading
community!
