your local bookstore.
Like New:
A previously read copy in "as new" condition. The Dust jacket, if issued, is intact. The pages are clean and
are not marred by notes or folds of any kind. This book would be suitable for presenting as a gift.
Very Good:
A copy that has been read and may show minor wear, but remains overall in excellent condition. The pages
are intact and are not marred by notes or highlighting. In the case of a paperback, the spine may have minor
creasing. Overall the condition is excellent.
Good:
A copy that has been read, but remains in clean condition. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact with
moderate wear (including dust cover, if applicable). In the case of a paperback, the spine may show
moderate creasing. Pages may exhibit light edge soiling and may include limited notes and highlighting.
Books can include store stamps, "From the library of" labels or a person's name or a gift dedication.
Acceptable:
A readable copy that may show significant wear and soiling. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact (the
dust cover may be missing). Pages may include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but the notes will
not obscure the text.
